Lynne B. Fallaw is a retired police officer and academy instructor. Obtaining her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice from USC, she found a passion for teaching many years ago. She currently is a lecturer at Midlands Technical College, teaching Criminal Justice.

When her oldest daughter obtained her beginner's permit, Lynne was unaware of the requirements of driver's education. So, like many parents, Lynne set out to find the most reputable program in her area. Well, she wasn't impressed!

Having taught police officers driving skills in adverse situations and her eligibility to retire, Lynne decided that opening up her own driving school was the next chapter in her life!

Lynne completed the certification process of police driving instructor through the SC Criminal Justice Academy in 1985.

The SC Department of Motor Vehicles requires the completion of a college-level, semester long course in Basic Traffic Safety. Lynne completed this program at Erskine College during the Summer of 2006.

In 2007, the Southeastern Chapter of the National Safety Council and the Colorado State Highway Patrol offered instructor certification for the Alive at 25 Defensive Driving Program. Not only did Lynne successfully complete this program, she mentored her colleagues and continues to be a tremendous advocate for the course. Lynne was recently honored by the Southeastern Chapter of the National Safety Council as their longest serving instructor of this vital program.
